ASTCT Community,

On behalf of ASTCT, we acknowledge that the locations (specific to US states) of various upcoming ASTCT in-person events have raised concerns among some in our community. These concerns are understood and critical as we personally and professionally navigate topics like patient privacy, patient-provider decision-making, and life-changing healthcare for patients and their families.

We are co-hosting the 2024 Tandem Meetings of ASTCT® & CIBMTR® in San Antonio, Texas. As we look forward to a wonderful event in San Antonio, we hope you choose to join us in February. If you are unable to attend in person, we will have a virtual offering featuring diverse educational sessions.

As stated in the ASTCT DEI position statement, ASTCT respects the decision of any individual within our community to participate in or contribute to in-person or virtual opportunities. ASTCT is committed to providing a range of learning opportunities and formats, so you have a choice to participate in activities in the way that best suits your needs.

ASTCT contracts with conference locations based on the needs of our community, availability to fit the event programming, and experience for our attendees. Holding an event in a city or state does not imply support of local legislation, nor does it reflect ASTCT’s views or values. Traveling to new locations supports millions of hard-working Americans. We encourage our community to leverage travel’s unique ability to drive progression rather than shut doors in opposition to policies.

ASTCT remains committed to our mission, strategic goals, and policy positions. As we make important decisions for our organization, we welcome your perspectives on evolving matters worldwide.
Thank you for your ongoing engagement in and support of ASTCT.
